My beautiful baby girl was taken to soon, she was only 4 months old, a beautiful daughter, Little
sister, Niece, Grandaughter and Cousin.. and touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.. Cerys was
born with a hole in her heart (AVSD) and was diagnosed with downs syndrome when she was born.. She
went to yorkhill hospital in Glasgow on the 07/09/09 and was taken for a major heart operation on
the 09/09/09 she ended up on ecmo and was on it for over a week, during that she ended up back in
theatre for a second heart op, she was on a lot of support for a few weeks but started coming off
things one by one, but was on a ventilator the whole 5 weeks.. Things started to improve really well
until they started weanin her off ventilator but she started struggling when it got to lowest levels
and found out there was a big build up of fluid in her chest.. few weeks after that things started
to get worse and her body started to deteriorate and was bk on double life support than the
beginnin, on the 13/10/09 we were told that Cerys probably wouldnt make it thru the nite, so we got
her christened at her bed side that night with all our friends and family there. On the 14/10/09 I
had to make the biggest desicion of my life and that was to take Cerys off life support, so she was
handed to me for her last minutes and passed away in my arms few minutes later.. She is my gorgeous
little angel and will never be forgotten.. The most amazin little girl ive ever known.. Mummy &

Hey sweetheart, I'm missin you more and more everyday, was sittin watchin the 4d scan dvd of u the other day, it was beautiful just watchin you.. and gigglin when u kept tryin to hide ur face.. I have so many amazin memories of you.. but wished you were lyin here cuddled into mummy like u always done.. I miss all the things we done when it was just the 2 of us.. when mummy used to sing to u.. and u used to fall asleep and always full of smiles when u woke up every mornin.. and those big beautiful blue eyes starin at mine...
